Mission, Goals and Objectives

The mission statement of Families For Educators is: "To give Christian encouragement to educators and to help equip them in their ministry to students and fellow educators by utilizing the Christian families of the children they educate in the educators' lives."

Families For Educators is a ministry whose mission is to point the hearts of the public school educator and private school educator to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our objective is to "influence the influencers" for the Lord.

Who are the ministers of God or whose job is ministry? First Peter 2:9 clearly answers this question: "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light."

Goals and Objectives for Each Area FFE

1. Enlist a prayer warrior to pray for each educator over the next 365 days. Challenge the parents to involve themselves in the praying, evangelism, and discipleship of the educators. The mission statement can be carried out by families petitioning God on behalf of educators and through their faith interaction in the lives of these educators. The families can fund the following for their adopted educator.

2. Give a copy of the video "Molder of Dreams" to each educator in the district. Attached will be a letter of explanation and a calendar of events for the year. Our Web site address and PO Box address will be listed.

3. Have a dinner for educators with Guy Doud, former National Teacher of the Year, as speaker. The dinner will be held with an opportunity to trust the Lord Jesus. Handouts and information will be given.

4. Have a once-a-month Bible study for growth, encouragement, and fellowship, and opportunities for new believers.

As a result of meeting these goals, we hope to encourage the educators, establish a stronger network of Christian educators, impact students for Jesus Christ, impact the school system for the Lord Jesus, and if God wills, see men and women enter into His Kingdom.
